The Old Soviet Union Had Electromagnetic Weapons
Russia (or North Korea) could strike the U.S. with an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack that won't just seize up you refrigerator and car, but will shut down all U.S. Defense systems. The U.S. Senate refuses to institute regulatory laws on our national grid to protect our defense systems that primarily use the national grid, because a majority of senators take money from grid lobbyists.
Studies show that within one year of the electric grid going down, 9 out of 10 Americans will die.
