Obama's Back-Door Attempts to Confiscate Guns

Obama has made numerous back-door attempts to confiscate guns without the notice of the American people, and without touching the Second Amendment.  To Wit:

WHEREAS:     In March 2009, under Obama, the Dept. of Defense sent a letter to the owner of Georgia Arms, the 5th largest retailer of .223 ammo in America, who normally buy spent brass from the DoD – ‘one time used’ shell casings by our military – from training on military bases.  They buy the brass and then re-load for resale to law enforcement, gun shops, gun clubs, Wal-Mart, etc.  They normally buy 30,000 pounds of spent brass at a time.  The letter stated that the DoD will be shredding the brass, making it useless for reloading.  The DoD informed that that shredded brass would be sold for less to China, after paying for the shredding.  One of Georgia Arms’ competitors who had already purchased a load of brass last week was contacted by the DoD, saying they were sending someone over to make sure (the brass casings) were destroyed (after purchase).  Obama’s policy called for a reclassification* of the brass and resulted in the above procedure.  However, public outrage resulted in reversal of Obama’s policy.  [DoD Suspension of Brass Cartridge Casing Sales; www.snopes.com, politics, guns]

WHEREAS:     Obama has illegally ordered the ATF to ban the sale to Americans citizens ammunition for the AR-15, the most popular rifle of Americans, by reclassifying* the weapon, even though federal law has exempt this rifle – and thus its ammunition.  The Second Amendment gives Americans the right to bear arms, ammunition is a given, in order to carry out their “duty” to overthrow a tyrannical government.  [dailymail.co.uk/02/27/2014] and [Declaration of Indepen- dence]  Only public outrage caused Obama to rescind this order, although ATF says they will work on how to take ammo.

WHEREAS:     Operation Choke Point:  Obama ordered the FDIC to close all bank accounts of some gun shop owners; as a result, shops have closed, preventing Americans from buying guns from those owners.  [www.foxnews.com/politics/ 2015/03/24/ congress-launching-hearing]

WHEREAS:     “UNODA, United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs, A/CN.11/L.72, Distr: Ristricted, 5 August 2013, Original: English, Disarmament Commission – Civilian Weapons Confiscation Study Group, New York, 20-31 July 2013.  The issue of military grade weaponry in the hands of civilians looms ever larger in the face of the global implementation of 22/Agenda 21 by member nations.  In particular, the United States of America has an estimate 500 million weapons in the hands of its civilian population.  This is not just a static problem, it is a massive dynamic problem for the process of confiscation as there will be those who refuse to surrender their firearms.  The conclusion of discussion by the CWCSG led to the adoption of a proposed agenda to begin the process of introducing to member nations a framework by which they can begin codification of national laws to disarm civilians within their borders through a gradual process  Within the discussion framework, we have identified several problem areas that must be address, they re: 1.  Classification* of military grade weapons to be made illegal for possession.  2.  Creation of programs to provide reasonable compensation for voluntary surrender of said arms.  3.  Codification of laws to begin the restricting and strict licensing of concealable firearms.  4.  Codification of laws to begin the restrict and strict licensing of hunting grade firearms.  5.  Codification of laws to restrict the sale of, and possession of ammunition and components to manufacture ammunition.  6.  Finally, codification of laws to completely make any and all firearms illegal to own, possess or use outside of military and law enforcement usage.  7.  Creation of a United Nations Police Taskforce* with the specific mission of assisting member nations with the collection of weaponry from civilian hands.  The WCSG will submit its findings…for a full review by the Office of the Secretary General.  [There is much controversy as to the authenticity of this document; good arguments on both sides.  See www.freedomoutpost.com/2013/08/...gun-of-the-united-nations-disarmament]
